Helping Build the Future of Osage Baseball
The Osage Maples Baseball program was created to support the future of baseball in Osage by giving young athletes additional opportunities to develop, compete, and grow through the game.
Our mission is to help motivated players learn baseball the right way through strong fundamentals, quality coaching, structured practices, competitive opportunities, teamwork, accountability, and respect for the game.
The Osage Maples are not here to replace existing youth baseball opportunities in Osage. We are here to add to them, support them, and help create a stronger pathway for players who are ready for more practices, more reps, more structure, and a more competitive baseball environment.
This program is built on local pride, player development, sportsmanship, effort, coachability, and preparing kids for the next level of Osage baseball. We want our players to grow not only as athletes, but as teammates, leaders, and young people who represent their families and our town the right way.
We welcome players, families, coaches, and supporters who believe in building something meaningful for our children, our community, and the future of baseball in Osage.
Interested in Joining the Osage Maples?
We are currently preparing for future Osage Maples teams for the 2027 season and are gathering interest for potential 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, and 12U teams.
At this time, we are only gathering interest to help determine which age groups may have enough players, volunteers, and qualified coaches to form teams. After we understand the level of interest, we will determine which age groups we are able to open for official sign-ups.
There is already an established 13U team that is currently full. That group has had an amazing five-year run, and we do not want to disrupt or adjust anything with that team.

Team formation will depend on player interest, available roster spots, and whether we are able to secure qualified coaches for each age group. Our goal is to build teams the right way, with strong coaching, committed families, and players who are ready for additional practices, development, and tournament-style baseball.
Families should assume the cost to be a member of the club will be approximately $250 per player per year.
USSSA baseball age groups are based on a player’s age as of May 1 for the applicable season. Since we are preparing for the 2027 season, your child’s age on May 1, 2027 will determine their age group.
For example, if a player turns 10 on May 1, 2027, they would be eligible for 10U or older. If their birthday is May 2, 2027, they would still be eligible for 9U.

Help Us Build Something Meaningful
As the program grows, we are seeking support through sponsorships, donations, equipment contributions, and volunteer involvement. Funds raised will go toward the future of the club, not individual players. This may include practice equipment, baseballs, team bags, helmets, catcher’s gear, training tools, field needs, and other items that help create a better experience for our players and coaches.
We also understand that the cost of competitive baseball can be difficult for some families. When possible, the board may consider limited financial assistance for no more than one player per team. Any assistance would be reviewed privately at the board level and handled with respect and confidentiality.
We are also looking for qualified coaches, assistant coaches, and volunteers who want to help develop kids the right way. All coaches will be required to complete a background check and align with the values, expectations, and purpose of the Osage Maples program.
